14 Jan Mantra for Difficult Times
The mantra is this:
I’m breathing. I’m alive. There is something I can do. I can open my heart when it wants to close. I can listen. I can ask questions. I can open the space for community. I can be a source for nurturing dialogue that creates rather than destroys.
Because, as humans, we all want the same things, ultimately. We want to love, and be loved. We want our voices to be heard and acknowledged. And we want to make a difference with our actions.
Whether we’re a presidential candidate, or someone famous, or YOU, our spirit desires these things.
The fulfillment of these desires are within reach at all times, through our choice of engaging in a different kind of dialogue, an acceptance that we are each made of love, a willingness to be an active and thoughtful — conscious, connected human being.
The choice is ours.
